Kent "The Architect" Stone

Founder & Chief Systems Engineer

U.S. Army veteran (10th Mountain Division) turned independent AI researcher, Kent built GSIN from a coastal apartment in Peru — proving that frontier earthquake forecasting doesn't require billion-dollar labs. With expertise in PyTorch 2.10 CUDA acceleration, GPU architecture optimization, and physics-informed neural networks, he engineered a consumer-hardware system capable of continental-scale stress modeling.

In early 2025, Kent's U-Net + LSTM architecture achieved a verified milestone: a Brier score of 0.003. This breakthrough demonstrated that AI-driven large volumetric data forecasting is achievable outside institutional walls, forming the foundation of GSIN's real-time intelligence system deployed worldwide today.

Previous Achievement: Founded the Wonderland Project, A multi-national cave diving expedition that used specialized underwater cameras and photogrammetry to 3D-map submerged Mayan cave systems along the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico — merging exploration with computational reconstruction.

Living with ankylosing spondylitis, advanced spinal stenosis and spinocerebellar ataxia (100% service-connected disability), Kent continues advancing GSIN from a custom-built RTX 5080 lab, from his home in coastal Peru. He is deeply committed to democratizing life-saving AI technology for communities worldwide — proving that innovation transcends borders and physical limitations.
